FAQs

  • Sovereign Alkemist is a space for transformation and remembrance. My work weaves together somatic therapy, trauma healing, and ancient wisdom traditions to support you in reconnecting with your body, spirit, and inner sovereignty. This is not about fixing you — it’s about guiding you back to your own innate wisdom and wholeness.

  • Each session is unique, but you can expect a supportive, grounded space where your body and nervous system lead the way. Each session and program offering is based on an in-depth collaborative dialogue where we explore what you are hoping to gain from the process and then tailored to your individual needs and preferences.  Depending on what we discover together, we may use somatic practices, EMDR, breathwork, guided meditation, Reiki or integrative dialogue. If you crave an even more embodied approach we may also incorporate yoga or other movement practices such as dance.  Sessions often feel like a blend of deep therapy and sacred ritual.

  • Yes. I work both in person in Vancouver and online worldwide. Many people find that online sessions are just as effective, especially when we’re working with somatic awareness and guided practices.

  • If you’re seeking healing that goes beyond talk therapy… if you feel called toward deeper embodiment, integration, and soul-alignment… or if you’ve had transformative experiences (such as meditation, yoga, or psychedelic journeys) that you want to ground into your life — this work may resonate with you.

  • Yes. I offer harm-reduction-based preparation and integration support for those exploring altered states or plant medicine in safe settings. These sessions help you prepare your mind, body, and spirit beforehand, and integrate insights afterward so they become lasting transformation.

  • It’s both — and neither in isolation. My background is in clinical therapy (trauma, somatics, EMDR), and I also draw from yoga, meditation, and energy-based practices. You can choose whether to keep sessions more therapeutic, more mystical, or a blend of the two depending on what feels aligned.

  • This work will help uncover, illuminate, and address many of the root issues that are thought to underlie many mental health conditions. While it can help with some symptoms, it is not treatment as you may find in the allopathic model of care for specific conditions or diagnoses. Working together should not occur in lieu of ongoing psychological or medical treatment.

  • Sessions are usually 50 minutes, all sessions incorporated within the packaged offerings are 50 minutes though I also offer 80-minute deep-dive sessions for those who want more space to go deeper.  The half day retreat is typically 5 hr and the full day retreat is up to 8 hr.

  • Yes. Rates vary depending on the type of session, most of which are posted on the website.  I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots for those with financial need. Please reach out to discuss what works best for you.

  • That’s completely okay. Many people come to me feeling uncertain, nervous, or unsure where to begin. Our first session will be gentle and exploratory — a chance for you to get to know me, ask questions, and see if this path feels right for you.

  • I offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation call for all program offerings (not stand alone individual sessions) so you can ask questions, share what’s bringing you here, and get a sense of whether we’re a good fit.
